From 5–13 November 2015, the APPG organised a study tour to Sierra Leone with a cross-party UK Parliamentary delegation including Baroness Jenny Tonge, Liz McInnes MP, Baroness Sheehan and Lord Hussain. The study tour was hosted by UNFPA, Sierra Leone. The aim of the study tour was to introduce and strengthen UK Parliamentarians’ knowledge on core family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights issues and to enhance the membership of the APPG.
