The European Parliamentary Forum on Sexual and Reproductive Rights (EPF) ran a study tour from 19–22 September 2023 for 5 European parliamentarians to El Salvador. Rupa Huq MP joined the delegation on behalf of the APPG and reported back to the committee. The purpose of the study visit was to learn about the situation of sexual and reproductive rights of women, girls, and adolescents in El Salvador. To this end, the delegation held meetings with public officials, cooperation agencies, diplomatic corps, human rights organisations, and went on territorial visits.
